I had to use this in a "footer" field in the plugin-management modal 
tiddler to get a close button. You would have to find out what modal 
tiddler is and replace the `param` below with that tiddler name.

footer: <$button class="tc-btn-invisible tc-tiddlylink" tooltip="Close this 
modal window." message="tm-close-tiddler" 
param="$:/plugins/joshuafontany/jsonmangler/ui/modals/packplugin" > 
{{$:/core/images/cancel-button}} Cancel </$button>
