SRF88 Have a look to see if there are addons to your prefered browser that enable display of these alternative format images. This is a very common way to add support for different types to a browser. After all PDF and other readers do this all the time. Hopefully then tiddlywikis presentation of those files will result in them displaying inline in the browser.
