It's been about 2 years since I've fiddled with TW5 and I'm trying to get back into it again. It appears Firefox v66 has relaxed some security measures at least in terms of EPUB reader can open a file from a web URL now. So I'm looking for a TW5 Firefox (or Chrome) plugin where i can click the save button in TW5 and with one button press it saves any changes I made to TW5 without showing the "Save As" dialog and "Are you sure you want to overwrite this file" dialogs. So here are my requirements.
1. It's an addon for Firefox or Chrome on Windows. 2. I'd like TW5 file that supports Markdown entry. 3. The TW5 file will be stored on local flash drive. 4. Firefox Addon does not require intallation of an EXE file in Windows like Timimi does. And notes on why I can't use these services: 1. Tiddlyspot: does not have markdown support in it by default. TW version seems older. 2. Tiddlydrive: I don't really want to use Google Drive but I could if I have to. I do have Dropbox. 3. Savetiddlers: only allows file saving on the C: drive where Firefox data is. I need to save my TW files on a flash drive. 4. Noteself: this is an online service and I'd prefer an offline service and edit my TW5 files on a flash drive. 5. Timimi: requires installation of EXE file on Windows. Anyone have any ideas for me?
