The First tip is create a tiddler than lists the links you want. tag it 
with $:/tags/SideBarSegment or $:/tags/SideBar

Personally if you are going to have a lot of links I think this use of the 
sidebar will prove to be inadequate.  In your case It may be nice to 
associate multiple links to one Tiddler so perhaps open that tiddler eg 
project name then have a tiddler Tagged $:/tags/ViewTemplate find and 
display all the links fonnd in fields of the project tiddler.
