Just sharing a minor milestone for me.
Windows 10
In a tiddlywiki under TiddlyDesktop, we are permitted to run an look at
local files
The following runs a batch file to do a networkcheck, various pings and dns
lookups etc..
and pipes the output to a text file, named in the
<object>
tag
The Button refreshes the current tiddler and retrieves the updated network
check file once its completed.
All within TiddlyWiki
tiddler: Networkcheck
<a title={{!!tooltip}} href="file:///C:\Data\batches\runnetworkcheck.cmd" >
Go</a>
<$button set="Networkcheck!!last-refresh" setTo=<<now "0hh:0mm">> >
Refresh {{Networkcheck!!last-refresh}}
</$button>
<a title="Open Excel" href="file://C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start
Menu\Programs\Excel.lnk"> Open Excel</a>
<object width="100%" height="600" data=
"file:///C:\Data\batches\networkcheck.txt"></object>
Conclusion:
You can fully control and automate your desktop environment all from a
tiddlyWiki "Dashboard".
Regards
Tony
