> FF 3.0.4 When you are running under FF3+, there is a known, ticketed problem with using the "browse" field to select a path/filename in the Backstage>Import function: http://trac.tiddlywiki.org/ticket/683 Fortunately, there is also a TiddlyTools CoreTweaks 'patch' that re- defines the 'browse' button (for FF3 only) to use an alternative, *secure* ask-for-filename dialog that bypasses the problems with the standard 'browse' field. You can get the tweak here: http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#CoreTweaks##683 (note: this also requires CoreTweak 604 that follows it) The simplest thing to do is to just import the entire CoreTweaks tiddler. After you save-and-reload, the 'Browse" button in the Import panel will appear as "..." so you'll know that the fix has been applied. Then, just use the Import panel as you usually would. When you press "..." for the first time, you will likely get a security warning... this is the normal, expected response from the browser, and you should allow it to proceed in order to select a path/file from your local (or networked) filesystem. enjoy, -e Eric Shulman TiddlyTools / ELS Design Studios --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWikiDev" group.
