I didn't quite grok your issue, or if it was TiddlyWiki or TiddlyWeb  
specific, but we had something of a learning experience of session  
cookies logging into to Confabb from RippleRap.

Some browsers automatically appended the session and other cookies to  
an XHR, where as some others, notably IE, did not.

We ended up recreating the Confab login form as a plugin, manually  
extracting the cookie, and then manually attaching it to future XHR  
requests. Follow the  txtConfabbSessionCookie in:
