As I am obsessed with TW, I'd love to contribute; however, my strong suit is not coding or knowing enough history of TW (should be clear in the above link :-) ). I'm in marketing and I deal with usability. If you welcome my talent, I'd be glad to share my thoughts on increasing TW adoption and user experience (I promise I'll wont be obnoxious). In reality, I will often reintroduce old discussions and possibly bore you :-) Without your approval, I'm gonna be a bad boy and share what comes to mind. Single Page Mode... One of the barriers to clicking 'download' is that TW operates in an unexpected way -- it opens tiddlers in a stacked way. This discourages adoption because a person has to become comfortable in the unexpected functionality first. If, upon the first click on TW, the visitor gets a callout that hints to the ability to toggle to single page mode, comfort will increase. There have been requests to make SPM a part of the core, so I'll end my discussion here. Keep it as a TW file. However, the challenge is Search Engine Optimization. I'd like to see TW rank in the top 3 for all relevant keywords. Looking around search results show how TW achieves ranking -- people raving about TW. I can see a separate site, like a blog, of key features of TW, which are many of the keywords. This would allow comments that further expand the quality of the ranking. Make 'Raves' a DefaultTiddlers... No one says it better than users. Lets just hope hearing "blowing my mind" isn't too repetitive :-) 'NewFeatures' means nothing to new users so removing it from the DefaultTiddlers would be reasonable. Make it a link from the backstage upgrade area.
