(Note that none of the below has any impact, at the moment, on
TiddlyWiki itself. If you think TiddlyWiki would benefit from using
git, please talk about that in a different thread.)

Because it more efficiently supports the kind of open and diverse
development that I hope to see with TiddlyWeb and allows a more
granular process, I've started the process of migrating development of
TiddlyWeb and some supporting code to http://github.com/tiddlyweb

If you are not familiar, github is a website that supports a social
network around git, a distributed version control system. The website
has guides that may be of some use: http://github.com/guides/home

If you have been doing development of TiddlyWeb what does this mean to
you:

* The development of the core code of TiddlyWeb has ceased at
svn.tiddlywiki.org and moved to http://github.com/tiddlyweb
* Ditto for development of the cdent's tiddlywebplugins and tiddlyweb-
plugins packages.
* You may follow TiddlyWeb development by going to http://github.com/tiddlyweb
* If you are installing TiddlyWeb from tarballs or easy_install,
nothing changes.

Long term the impact of this should be that many people can be
involved in the development of TiddlyWeb _without having to ask for
permission_. This provides a great opportunity.

Short term it just means that some documentation is out of date. I
will be cleaning this up as time allows. If you find issues please let
me know. If you have questions, please post them.

Thanks!
