Hi All A few times now I have came up against the question of having an online TW authenticate a username before it shows specific parts of the TW.....especially those parts where UploadTiddlerMacro is functioning....so that only certain people can edit the TW.
Since I an working with Upload plugin (and its variations UploadTiddler)....I obviously have a list of the authorised people sitting in store.php (and also storeTiddler.php) in the same directory. When I use Upload....the plugin is obviously checking against store.php to see if the username and passwords match...and then proceedes with the upload. It seems to me it would be easy to use some of UploadPlugins code to check against store.php and then return some sort of simple "approved/ notapproved" parameter...that I can then test against...maybe a config.options.....Im the UploadPlugin I can see where it does this...but don´t know enough code to be able to do the hacking I need.....anyone with the time to help me out....I am sure this would be a really useful Plugin.....
