We noticed that quite a few .meta files contain spurious data - some of
those fields (e.g. changecount and server.*) interfere with the adaptor
mechanism and thus reuse on server-sides:

In most cases, the only relevant fields are title, modifier and tags,
plus perhaps created and modified. (Of course there are exceptions, so
perhaps we should establish some kind of convention here?)
Would be nice if everyone could check and fix their respective entries
in Subversion.
