How do you add the field, and where do you expect it to show up?
Generally, line breaks are encoded as "\n".

> Is there any way to add multiple Annotation fields to a tiddler?

I assume you're not referring to config.annotations?
Each field name must be unique (and lowercase), with a simple string as
its value.
However, you can add as many different custom fields as you like.

Using slices and sections seems to be the more tiddly-ish solution.
Custom fields are primarily used for behind-the-scenes data which is
accessed programmatically.
