Hi DrDOS, I also have great hopes about MathJax. I am following its development and I thing it's still a little early to bring its power to TiddlyWiki. The main reason for this is that the MathJax team has not yet published the API documentation. As it is now, there's information on how to use it to parse full web pages but that is not useful regarding TW. Please let me know if you know better.
Another possible issue with MathJax is that it will break the single file approach of TW. Do you know my MathSVG plugin at http://www.math.ist.utl.pt/~psoares/MathSVG.html ? -- Paulo Soares On 30 Mar, 19:44, DrDOS <[email protected]> wrote: > Sorry for semi-double posting, but is there a TiddlyWiki Plugin forum > I should rather be posting on? > I've posted also on the MathJax sourceforge forum, but I was hoping to > get some help also from the TiddlyWiki side. > > It seems that MathJax is going to set the bar and standard for > typesetting math on webpages in the near and long term future, due to > its backing by both key developers of the popular jsMath and the > powerful backers in the math and physics community (see MathJax.org). > That's why I'm hoping we can bring this to TiddlyWiki to maintain and > gain ground for TiddlyWiki among people from math/engineering/physics > and other sciences, thus increasing interest and enlarging the user/ > supporter base for TiddlyWiki in the future. > Thx -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWikiDev" group.
