I am not exactly sure how you want to place/arrange your boxes. But I
made a plugin using jQuery UI. jQSorter can be used to manually sort
story tiddlers. Have a look at: http://a-pm-experimental.tiddlyspot.com/

A story tiddler contains a bracketed list of tiddler names and is
tagged: story.

eg:
tiddler: MyStory contains
[[Tiddler with spaces]]
[[Tiddler 1]]
[[tiddler2]]
...
