Since my local Git clone of the SVN repo only goes back to September
(due to The Incident), I was sometimes missing easy access to history
(Subversion's got nothing on Git's log, diff or blame commands).

So I finally got around to creating a new, full clone[1] (>12 hours, 285
MB on my HDD) - and while I was at it, I uploaded it to GitHub (~35
minutes, 118 MB transmitted). Not sure yet how frequently I'll update
that mirror[2] though.
