Hi all.
I'm the project lead of UberStudent, http://uberstudent.org, a free,
user-friendly Linux desktop distribution for learning, doing, and
teaching the essential skills of academic success at the higher
education and advanced secondary levels.
We've recently released a lightweight edition of UberStudent to
reinvigorate older computers and help close the digital divide by
putting accessible tools into the hands of students in the developing
world. The level of demand for it it has been surprising and very
satisfying. :-) It includes a stock version of TiddlyWiki by using a
script to open it in the home directory, which is placed there through
etc/skel.
As I have a very overfilled plate already, I'm wondering if someone
might be interested in making a debian package for TiddlyWiki that
includes a few great plugins that students would find particularly
useful. We would include this as part of our distro.
Hoping to hear back!
Stephen Ewen
