I follow this thread with insterest.

The start and the end of blocks sometimes is not obvious.
I think, I have an example, that produces no markup "explosion" but
"artefacts"

eg: an invisible section like this

/%
!Section
Some text
%/
can be transcluded with <<tiddler "xx##Section">> and produces

SomeText
%/

Which is wrong. Solving it, may be:
/%
!Section
Some text
/% %/

Which is perfectly fine in the existing TW markup. But makes it hard
to read for newbies.

I also think, that a markup, should not be too forgiving, if there are
errors. They should be visible. So they must be fixed, otherwise they
won't. Which on the other hand will lead to "bad" markup (user
behaviour).
