Recently, I was a bit confused by the TiddlyWiki refresh mechanism, and dived into the code making notes and extending earlier notes by Mike Mahemoff on my travels into the core. I discovered a few things that I wasn't clear on before such as the fact that refreshTiddler (http://tiddlywikidev.tiddlyspace.com/ #Story.prototype.refreshTiddler) destroys an entire tiddler dom element and reconstructs it, which is significant if a macro is calling refreshAllTiddlers on a regular basis.
