TW5 is currently in a pre-alpha stage - it's not ready for practical use by end users.
For developers, there is quite a lot to experiment with, and it can already be a useful tool for some advanced things (for example, you can use it to build TiddlyWiki 2.6.x from its constituent files, instead of the cranky old Ruby tools). So, if you've got practical work to accomplish, I'd advise sticking to TW2.6.x, but if you're curious to start experimenting with TW5 and learning more about JavaScript, I'd urge you to download node.js and try it out. https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5 Best wishes Jeremy On Tue, Mar 27, 2012 at 3:08 PM, SteveM <[email protected]> wrote: > I came across this Jeremy Ruston TW5 page: > > http://tiddlywiki.com/tiddlywiki5/ > > On Mar 27, 10:00 am, Craig in Calgary <[email protected]> > wrote: >> Is there a TW v5 beta? > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "TiddlyWikiDev" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/tiddlywikidev?hl=en. > -- Jeremy Ruston mailto:[email protected] http://www.tiddlywiki.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWikiDev" group.
