Gosh, I imagine that's because of the way that the front page says "last updated 8 months ago"? That refers to the last modification date of the HelloThere tiddler. For saving locally, the fall-back method of downloading a fresh TiddlyWiki doesn't really work with autosave since it requires user interaction. Saving with TiddlyFox will permit autosaving. There will be use of local storage to preserve changes in case of a crash before you get a chance to manually save.
