Hi,

I'm using the current TW5 alpha with FF20 and TiddlyFox on Ubuntu 12.10.
Works nicely, including saving (thanks for the awesome overhaul of the
original TW!).

Only problem I have is that German Umlauts (ä ö ü) are not encoded
correctly. Everything looks fine during editing and while staying in the
same "session". But once I reload the page (after saving of course), all
Umlauts are represented as questionmark characters ().

I already changed the default encoding in FF to UTF-8, to no avail. Opening
the same file in Chromium also displays the ?, but changing these
characters back to Umlauts will result in a correctly encoded file. So I
guess it is more an isse with TiddlyFox than with TW5. Any Ideas how to
solve it?

Best,

Peter
