Thanks Mario - I'd agree. Most of my work on TW5 takes place in a text
editor (using the node.js version, with continuous alt-tab & refresh to the
browser), but for the last couple of months I've also been using the
ordinary single file edition for task tracking a family project. I keep the
file in my Dropbox, and use TiddlyFox on the desktop to make changes. I
also share a read-only link to the file through Dropbox.

The main point to watch is perhaps to avoid complex customisation of
templates, since those tend to change quite rapidly.
