Hi GJRobert, I had two more ideas for NodeTreePlugin <http://nodetree.tiddlyspace.com>and I was wondering what you think of them...
1) Allow to have the tree work both ways! <https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3rDNIOO-7pw/UktQGfDmowI/AAAAAAAABPs/9PqGGwFxn3s/s1600/tree_both_ways.png> The Syntax I can imagine is to combine all items of the same level that end in a pipe, e.g... %|1st level child %|1st level 2nd child ?|1st level spacer %&&1st level parent&& What do you think? Would you be interested in trying to figure out how to make it work? I think this were quite intriguing, considering how you could have the tid in the middle and then all tags to the left and all tagging to the right or all links to the left and all back-references to the right. 2) Allow to assign classes to nodes. A possible syntax may be... %className%1st level child ?|1st level spacer /noNodeClass/content One usecase I can think of would be... %important%high prio half-done item ...and then render a niee symbold for that item However, rendering multiple symbols might actually require more complex syntax, e.g. using actual images or class wrappers with bg-images. So, working with {{className{foo}}} inside a tree element is probably possible but... 1. a bit ugly 2. not quite producing the same results ...but perhaps this specifiicity is not needed.
