There will be auto-save soon. Describing how to implement it would sadly
require a similar amount of work to actually implementing it!

If you're able to, try running the node.js version of TW5. It persists
changes to disc on every keystroke while editing a tiddler, making it very
hard to lose data by closing the browser.
