Hi Jeremy, when you have imported my TW2 into a fresh TW5, can you please share your observations regarding performance?
I found: (1) After importing via Tools menu, all the imported tiddlers are open and the resulting TW becomes very slow when it comes to editing, let's say a preference. But that is only the case while all the tiddlers are open, and that's not a realistic use case. Closing all but one, restores the usual performance. So, no problem. But: there are only less than 600 tiddlers in the TW. (2) When generating a TW5 including all the tiddlers from the given TW2 (now ca. 1400 tiddlers) than TW5 is slow on editing even if only one tiddler is open. It's not completely unusable, but it's slowed down enough to be annoying. I use a recent FF and my Mac is not yet an oldtimer ;-) regards Michael Am Sonntag, 8.
