Hi Mans,
I was so exited, that someone tries the stuff, that I didn't realize, that
you already use ubuntu. I did see it in your first post, but I kind of
ignored it :)
So if you have Elementary (ubuntu) installed, why do you run the stuff in a
VBox container.
So you run an ubuntu guest on an ubuntu host?
Is it just problems with the setup of
- nodejs,
- git,
- clone TW5 repo
- use the scripts ?
If so, it should be easy to
- write some step by step how-to's installing the stuff
- connecting to the right sources for latest versions (for ubuntu)
- prepare a directory structure that works with Jeremy's repo settings
- clone the repository
- run a client / server version
I think Jeremy could need some help, especially with the documentation
tiddlers.
If there are people out there, that want to learn, how to use git because
they heard "it's so cool".
If anyone wants to get some basics in using nodejs. (Just as much, to run a
TW test server)
I'd even record some videos, if that would help contributors.
