If it hasn't already been discussed (...I mean, because it is a standard feature in e.g windows folders, excel, or even here in google groups) - a directly resizable width of the tiddler river and the sidebar with a drag type tool. A "live" setting of the themetweaks values and much easier than having to go into the controlpanel (including knowing just how much, say, 240px means). I guess it could be to the right and left of each "column" - or the very simplest would perhaps be a single such thing just between the river and he sidebar.
Perhaps a handle showing at top or bottom, to be grabbed with mouse and visible when hovering directly over it.
