You named it: "So the problem is just that the .tc-reveal class is a bit 
useless by itself? The thing is that it makes it easier to understand 
what's going on when browsing the DOM." 

I was searching for a pattern, to add a class, or replace it with something 
that tells you that reveal created the dom element, but it would also be 
useful for styling, without changing a shadow tiddler.
