I was talking about browser tabs. I did not know that. I just looked up "cross document support browsers tabs" in google and thought this might work. That is disappointing; but I can work around that by writing session cookies off of the second tiddler and reading it periodically from the first. My problem is relatively not complex as the counter increment is required at a low frequency - once every two/three minutes or so. Thanks for your input.
