In prerelease:

Tab Info > Tab Basics

   - Language: Not sure about "Hello!" for language setting. But I admit
   it's funny :-)
   - Number of overridden shadow tiddlers: (1) Hm, why is this not zero
   even in empty official release?
   - ...and (2) which shadow tiddlers are we actually talking about? If
I've overridden some, I'd sure like to know which. I suggest maybe a slider
   to show them.

Tab Appearence > Palette

   - Suggest thin frame around selection, or perhaps contrasting
background, instead of dot. But if dot is kept, I suggest right-shifting
all color boxes so that dot is more visible (compare with Tab Appearence
   >Theme) and also change color to black and make it bigger.
   - Palette Blanca (only!) causes selected tab to not have contrasting
   color.
   - It does not seem to make sense to have palette titles in blue here as
they don't work as links. All other info text is in black...
   - ...except for the theme titles which I say the same thing about; they
should be black as they're not used as links.

Tab Appearence > Story View

   - "Story view" is a bit cryptic. Add explanation at top.
   - Skip the dropdown and make it similar to Tab Appearence > Theme, i.e
   list all + give description
   - Theme Cecily; while I assume this still not quite developed and will
get some obvious way for user to zoom, we meanwhile need at least an
obvious way to switch back to another theme so users don't get stuck in
   Cecily.

Tab Appearence > Theme

   - See above about Palette and black theme titles

Tab Appearence > Toolbars

   - Is "toolbars" really a good term for this tab (or even in general)?
They're more commands than tools, IMO. And bar... how about menu? Maybe
"tiddlermenu" ? Perhaps "tiddlertools" (hey that has a familiar sound!).
   - ...or, still on terminology, focus on the tools themselves instead of
the whole bar: The tab explanation reads "Select which toolbar buttons are
displayed". Also under tab "Settings" we find the friendly term "buttons"
and this is also the standard term used for windows upper-right controls, I
think. But on the other hand the tool icons don't look like buttons...
except for in the prerelease sidebar, tab Tools, they do...
   - In the tab, we see a listing of; Edit Toolbar, Page Toolbar and View
Toolbar. They're in the wrong order. Either Page comes first or last.
   - Won't go in depth here, but planting a seed (if it's not old hat
already): How about dragn'drop to/from toolbar?

Tab Appearence > Theme tweaks

   - Information reads (in bold) that these are tweaks for the Vanilla
theme... but it seems to affect other themes as well.
   - IMO Theme tweaks ought to be in the immediate vincinity to where you
choose the theme. I have a concept that would solve this described here
   <https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!topic/tiddlywiki/1gshapnTwvs>
   .

Tab Settings

   - "Settings" is unfortunately a bit cryptic even if I can see it's
difficult to find better names. Actually I suggest renaming it to "Browser"
   or similar and...
   - Keep the parts "Navigation Address bar", "Navigation History"
   - ...move part "Autosave" to tab Saving, above the Tiddlyspot part.
That's where I would look if I want to change the saving procedures.
   - ...and move part "Toolbar Buttons" to tab Appearence > Toolbars.
Again, that's where I would look anyway.
   - Regarding Toolbar Buttons, if it stays; It is a bit inconsistent to
have the explanatory headline in blue and options in black, until the last
item where this is reversed... even if I'm not sure anybody will notice ;-)

Tab Plugins

   - Hoping those icons will be prettified ;-)
   - It was only now, on closer inspection, that I discovered the drop down
arrow to left of icon. Maybe I'm the only one, otherwise I'm thinking a
[More information > ] button would be clearer. Perhaps to the right in the
   individual plugin rectangle there.

(Tab Tools - I sent a private email to Mr. JR asking if this should be
there so won't comment further here on this.)
