First has anyone built what I am asking about already? Second here is what I am asking about,
There are two different things I am trying to build. 1. A Link to a direct YouTube start time <http://www.richshumaker.com/tw5/TiddlyWiki-Hangouts.html#Linking%20to%20specific%20Time%20in%20YouTube> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EU-H0xhga08&t=30m50s &t=1m11sec So I am trying to create a way to put the 3 variables 1. YouTube Link - EU-H0xhga08 2. Minutes - Possibly convert Hour and Minutes to just minutes so 1:11 would be 71minutes 3. Seconds So this is the set up using pseudo code - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v="Variable 1"&t="Variable 2"m"Variable 3"s I am not sure of the dynamics of how I create this to be 'easier' than hand coding it. 2. Create an Embedded YouTube from one time to another <http://www.richshumaker.com/tw5/TiddlyWiki-Hangouts.html#Play%20YouTube%20video%20from%20one%20point%20to%20another> Here is the code I am trying to create something for "plug in" or "macro", not sure of the name <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/EU-H0xhga08?rel=0&start=300&end=620&autoplay=0"; frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> So again 3 Variables on this one as well 1. YouTube Link - EU-H0xhga08 2. Start time in Seconds - Conversion from to hours and minutes to seconds 3. End time in Seconds - Conversion from to hours and minutes to seconds 4. I should also look at the other options like size, autoplay, frameborder and allow fullscreen(probably more variables too) Pseudo code - <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/"Variable 1"?rel=0&start="Variable 2"&end="Variable 3"&autoplay=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I am not sure of the dynamics of how I create this to be 'easier' than hand coding it.
