As I continue work on my Editor project, I'm considering adding tiddler splitting capability like Eric has on his Quick-Edit tools. To do that, I need to be able to create a new tiddler which I would than load up with the selected text and tags of the source tiddler. Since I'll be doing this from inside one of my widgets, I need to use javascript rather than the more typical action button inside a tiddler like Skeeve's New Tiddler or TW5's NewTiddler buttons. The code is all in there already. I can see the routine handleNewTiddlerEvent; I haven't been able to figure out how to call it from my widgets.
I know one of you has figured this one out. Can I get someone to point me in the right direction? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWikiDev" group.
