Yes, I can readily run a comparison manually.

I'm keen to simplify the process of collecting contributions in this way,
as I think it gives us a much lower barrier than having to mess around with
GitHub.

I'd suggest that for each such modified clone of tw.com you should add a
tiddler that explains the purpose of the changes, and if necessary points
to the specific things that have changed.
