Greetings, I've wanted a drop down for the add a new field so much that I hacked one together. It isn't in a plugin and has some problems and I really don't know what I'm doing so I'm reaching out for feedback. I think there is also a change in the upcoming 5.1.9 which affects it also. I was wondering if anyone could take a look and tell me what they think before I go any further:
