Arg(h), after looking again through the TW5 wikiparser rules, I now saw the macrocallinline.js <https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/blob/master/core/modules/parsers/wikiparser/rules/macrocallinline.js> which answers my own question. Sorry for a question I could have answered myself.
