Marc, Keep in mind that the Edit Button is "click to edit" as well. Since the plugin Ton mentions works you are possibly happy. But it should be trivial to make click to edit operate on any other part of a tiddler in view mode. I can think that the space between the title and the tool bar at the top of the tiddler may be a nice place to allow click to edit. this should also work with folded tiddlers. I always found click to edit stopping me selecting text to copy in view mode.
