That explains it well thanks. I still see value in being able to say
<$transclude currentTiddler=tiddlername tiddler=templatetiddler/>
Which is a direct equivalent of
'{{curentTiddler||tiddlername}}' because its such a fundamental action which
would be helpful in a number of cases.
