Actually yes. I stopped bothering about it, I can check if it behaves the same way on 11.10.
Anyway, on my Lucid it still appears. This is an Intel GPU, so no priopertary drivers are used. I also tried using an older plymouth, but this is also not related to that one. Kernel version 2.6.32-30.59 (generic pae), but I have also tested latest 2.6.32-27 to 2.6.32-30, plymouth 0.8.2-2ubuntu2.2, but 0.8.2-2ubuntu2 tested as well. I do not know if I should check any other package for regression bugs. Any hints?
