Can confirm this Problem with Ubuntu 13.10, Kernel 3.12-Generic and Unity, have yet to test with different DEs

When I desactivate the screen in xRandr, but I keep the displaylink connected, everything work fine. I also tried to take all graphic effect and desktop in compiz setup, stay the same. I'm running Ubuntu 13.04 64 bits and the Kernel 3.11.0-031100rc5-generic I tried also with Kernel 3.10 and 3.9. My Graphic card is a Intel.
