My comments aren't really contradicting you, but I'd add *BSD, illumos, and any other maintained system with a reasonably modern compiler and that mostly conforms to POSIX As usual I'd like to see the compiler requirement be very far back, as with systems that integrate the compiler into base, things get awkward. Today, supporting gcc 10 + would be ok, and 7 + would be great. Needing 12 seems unreasonable. _______________________________________________ Tiff mailing list [email protected] https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/tiff
