I have decided to withdraw my +1, for the moment.
Some may be aware of a 'utilities/tests/gen-tiff-images/genimages'
script in the GraphicsMagick source repository which produces a wide
variety of usual and unusual TIFF files.
Today I discovered that unexpected computed error values were reported
for many of the outputs given the TIFF 4.7.2 I had just installed.
I did 'make uninstall' in the 'tiff-4.7.2' build directory and for some
reason, 'tiffinfo' and the libraries which should have been just
installed were not uninstalled.
After manually uninstalling libtiff libraries and installing 4.7.1, the
genimages script seemed to work normally.
It is possible that these issues are due to something in my own
environment. I will investigate.
