Has anyone done a survey of how implementations treat this extension and the name field in the server init? If there are no existing implementations that prevent it, then I'd like to specify UTF-8 for at least the extension.
+1. I also suggest that we: * Specify UTF-8 for ServerInit* And finally, somewhere in the beginning, specifies that UTF-8 should be used for all strings unless something else is specified.
