After setting up vnc to run from my X server (see previous messages), I noticed that I still had vncservers running to catch user2 and user3 logins.
I moved the /etc/sysconfig/vncservers to /etc/sysconfig/vncservers.off (There may be a more elegant way to do this..) Then reboot. But I see a 'Boot error' icon in my top bar. It says vnc cannot find any display definitions (couldn't find /etc/sysconfig/vncservers) I went to System->Services and Disabled vncserver Then reboot and from another system, use vncviewer to log in. Amazing - it works !! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lotusphere 2011 Register now for Lotusphere 2011 and learn how to connect the dots, take your collaborative environment to the next level, and enter the era of Social Business. http://p.sf.net/sfu/lotusphere-d2d _______________________________________________ Tigervnc-users mailing list Tigervnc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tigervnc-users
