Hi,
I would greatly appreciate help for very non debbugable malfunction
of Xvnc. I use Fedora16 x64 w/ last
updates, Xorg 1.11.3, KDE 4.7.4. I previusly used the same method with
RHEL5 x32 again w/ Xvnc installed
thru yum (named vnc-server instead of tigner-.... in FC16). I also use
the same method w/ an old Mandrake
x32 + tightvnc server 1.29.
When I add an Xvnc server instance to the KDE display manager
server pool, the server starts but blocks
till kdm kill it. Tested by hand it works and can be connected from
startkde. Sometimes it can open the RFB
port, but client connections block before password.
I've got no track in logs, except failure (timeout) from kdm. I
thought making a sh wrapper script to use from
kdmrc instead of directly Xvnc, and inside lauching Xvnc 2>&1 >myfile
but Xvnc output cannot be redirected !!!
PS :I give my kdmrc as attachment, if any indication can be found there.
