Hello Peter,

sorry, that I forgot to give this important information:
I use the Xvnc version from the repository, with the latest fixes concerning
the AltGr bug, which is fixed since 11 days.
I use the FLTK based client, also from the repository:
TigerVNC Viewer 64-bit v1.2.80 (20130326)

Thanks,

Michael

Which version of the server and client are you using? Are you using the Java or FLTK based client?

Hello Tigervnc-Team,

even though tigervnc is nearly perfect as it is, I found again one thing with
the keyboard:
I'm an awesome-window-manger user (obviously Linux) and in awesome you move
windows with "Shift - Super_L - <number>" to the screen number you want to.
This works in tigervnc for the numbers 1,4 and 5.
For 2,3,7,9 the command doesn't arrive. The Shift-Superl_L-6 moves in fact to
screen 7 and 7 moves to 8. Really strange....

xev shows the correct behaviour for Shift-Super_L-1.

And you see the '"' character printed in terminal, whereas normally you don't
see any character printed.

Shift_L or Shift_R doesn't make a difference in behaviour.

Can others reproduce the behaviour?
Any idea what can be wrong?

Thanks a lot,

Michael
