I can reproduce the issue on a local workstation by creating a VNC server on :1
and connecting to it from my desktop's native X. This is a fully updated Gentoo
system. So, no mismatched X libraries or headers between the client and the
server.

Anybody got any ideas? This is a major issue for our deployment of tigervnc.
The cut & paste from client to server used to work, and now it does not. Can
someone even provide a hint as to where to start debugging this issue? I have
tried all I could.
