I have googled subject message and got many hits which however did not seem to
solve my problem. Both server and client are fedora 19 and xfce. On vncserver I
get:

[root@epohost etc]# systemctl status vncserver@:1.service
vncserver@:1.service - Remote desktop service (VNC)
    Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/vncserver@:1.service; enabled)

   Process: 1418 ExecStop=/sbin/runuser -l erik -c /usr/bin/vncserver -kill %i
(code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
   Process: 776 ExecStart=/sbin/runuser -l erik -c /usr/bin/vncserver %i

   Process: 661 ExecStartPre=/bin/sh -c /usr/bin/vncserver -kill %i > /dev/null

So I believe this looks healthy but no vnc (I suppose it is Xvnc) is listening
on the relevant ports:

[root@epohost etc]# lsof -i -P|grep -i listen
cupsd 532 root 11u IPv6 18142 0t0 TCP

rpcbind 754 rpc 9u IPv4 18308 0t0 TCP *:111 (LISTEN)
rpcbind 754 rpc 12u IPv6 18311 0t0 TCP *:111 (LISTEN)

(LISTEN)
dropbox 1877 erik 27u IPv4 28497 0t0 TCP *:17500 (LISTEN)

The vnc log shows:

Sun Jul 14 21:58:51 2013

Clearly something is wrong - but what could it be. Hoping someone may cast some
light on this problem.

Thanks in advance.
