I'm attempting to connect to a Mac OS X Mavericks VNC / ARD server. It's
the default VNC server that comes with OS X. Using Remotix (another VNC
client), I can specify an OS X username and password when I connect.
Remotix even asks me if I want to start a new user session if another user
is already logged in (that way, two users can have their own separate
simultaneous sessions on the same Mac).

I tried specifying a username and password in the TigerVNC preferences
(and disabled regular VNC authentication), but I get an error message
saying, "No matching security types".

Does TigerVNC support username and password authentication to OS X hosts
like Remotix does? Is this something that's in the works?

Thanks,

Peter
