I have been trying out the z8-z11 lowzoom processing using Batik. I've made a couple of small changes to the map feature xml's and it now appears to be working fine. I am not overly happy with the zoom 10 results for secondary roads, perhaps these might be better off as solid lines rather than with casing, like Z8 & Z9?
The main problem I am having is with osmxapi itself. Even working on relatively empty z8 tiles, the interface often takes forever to return data, if at all, often returning 'No data here'. Is this because the server running osmxapi is being overloaded? Or has it crashed completely now? Are there any plans to move osmxapi to a more powerful server? Now that [EMAIL PROTECTED] is on steroids, I am finding it next to impossible to do any meaningful lowzoom work to catch up.
