The [EMAIL PROTECTED] server has been rebooted. Yay! Thanks to crschmidt and
JohnG (whom I don't know) for getting this done and sorry for the 100 mile
drive.

I've been busy during the night (take THAT talk-de! :P) and fixed up things.
First of all, I'd like to thank

_Kai Krueger_, _Michael Ritzert_, and _Tellus_ for tackling the C-based Tile
serving. It's deployed and seems to perform extremly well. Thanks to those
involved!

We also don't store uploads in RAM anymore (a restriction of old django
versions), which helps keep a lid on RAM usage.

For now, there are only a few upload slots enabled, I don't want to risk
another reboot. If things prove to be stable, I will increase the number of
upload slots so things should speed up then.

Let's see, how it performs now, and thanks for your patience.

BTW, uploads go still to port 81 in your general.conf to circumvent apache totally. In
case your firewall absolutely doesn't permit that, should can manually modify the UPLOAD
URL thing in general.conf to not use port 81 (just remove ":81"). But this is
not the recommended way for now.

Please, if you edit general.conf *make* *sure* you watch for serverside changes, and if in doubt, delete it, and "svn up" manually.

It is important for the operation of the project, that you keep your hands out of svn controlled files whenever possible, so that the auto-update works correctly.

This also means that I'm quite open to patches as long as they make at least some sense.
